too much candy

words cannot describe the fun we have around here. i absolutely love cheboygan and my companions and i never want to leave! hope you all had a lovely halloween, we ate tons of candy and watched the chosen ;) also sad day- it snowed all day yesterday and it's only getting worse. here are some highlights from the week

• we taught mathew again! he is so good and is so willing to live God's commandments. we had to cancel an appointment that we planned to bring president and sister heap to because of a tough situation but we were able to have a lesson with them instead. he is excited to meet them soon though!

• we had district council in sault ste marie! we went across the mackinac bridge and saw all three great lakes that are close by! so so cool.

• we had a superrrrr inspired lesson with alex. we went in with a plan to read a chapter from the bible and from the book of mormon focusing on "fruits" and had to 180 and study those same chapters with a completely different focus. Heavenly Father knew she needed those scriptures but not in the way we had prepared it.

• we picked up a new friend named jimmy! he is really cool and has been taught by missionaries previously. we met with him three times this past week and he is so prepared! the Lord has really blessed and prepared cheboygan for us

we had a north america north east area fireside broadcast with elder and sister uchtdorf. he taught that knowledge without action is merely trivia. knowledge becomes power when we act on that knowledge.
