god be with you

November 30, 2020

this is it my friends. today is your last chance to say you emailed me on my mission hahaha. jokes aside i feel a deep sense of love for the past 18 months of my life. serving the Lord here in michigan has changed me forever and i will absloutely cherish this time. i wish i could be here forever. God has been so good to me and so so good to these friends i have taught.

• we had our last district council of the transfer and our district got permission to do it in person (because they asked us to do it virtually.) it was such a blessing to have a testimony meeting as a district and the spirit that was there

• thanksgiving! we went to petoskey to have a district activity and we played kickball. it was a hoot and a half. then we came back ran a turkey trot (sister nelson biked it haha) and we went 4.5 miles. then we cooked our own turkey, had a lesson with mathew and called it a day! i feel so thankful for all that God has given me

• we were so blessed on sunday. with sister nelson and me leaving, we were able to get many of our friends to church. there was actually an equal amount of members to non-members. our friends loved church and it was so sweet to have them there.

• mathew is getting baptized this saturday. i have feel beyond blessed to have been here for all of his teaching and see him prepare for this covenant. he is so christlike and i hope to be like him one day. i am so thankful for technology and that i can join the baptism via zoom.

mathew, his daughter, and the schemms

finally, i want you each to know i have a witness, testimony, and knowledge of the Savior. i know that He lived, died, and rose again so that we can enjoy peace in this life and eternal life in the world to come. i know His is the only name under heaven whereby man can be saved. i know He came only to do His Father's will. that will is to bring about our eternal salvation. i thank God every day that i have had the opportunity to represent His Son.

much love

it's the best week ever

 November 23, 2020

I can’t even explain how good this week was. God has been so good to us. Here are only a few of the many many highlights:

• ZONE CONF!!!! we drove two hours to traverse city and hit up a bunch of stores since we have almost nothing in cheboygan. then we started the meeting off with the message of hope and healing from president nelson. there was an unique spirit there as we watched with our zone and heard him pray for us. then there were amazing trainings from our president, the zone and sister training leaders, and the kindest words from president gentile about my teaching. i also gave my departing testimony. tooooo real.

sister klusman!!!!

our traverse city treats--wendy's and olive garden

• i had my last interview with president heap. i love him so much and i constantly feel blessed to serve here in the great michigan lansing mission.

• OZIBO GOT BAPTIZED! i was able to join over zoom and it was such a blessing. he has come so far and has the purest desire to follow God. i love that guy♡♡

• we had a special broadcast for the north america north east area with president eyring, elder soares, elder bassett and sister alburto. it was a powerhouse of spiritual guidance and it was perfect for what i was needing this week. also blessed because president and sister heap drove up to cheboygan for the broadcast to watch with our sweet group here.

• mathew is sooooooooooooooo ready for baptism. he had to make some hard decisions this past week and had some serious health challenges so he may or may not be baptized on saturday depending on how he is feeling. God has been so aware of him and his needs. president heap just absolutely raved about him to us today.

today i am grateful for the book of mormon. it has been one of the greatest blessings in my life and it has time and time again helped me overcome challenges, find lasting comfort and peace and taught me who Jesus Christ is and what He has done for me. i love the book of mormon and i would invite you to read it today.

what are you grateful for today? go post it on social media and thank Heavenly Father in prayer for it. #givethanks

love you all forever and always

message of hope and healing

 November 16, 2020

• mathew is doing so good!! he shares his testimony frequently with us and others and the Lord has been blessing him with so many spiritual experiences. we taught him and his daughter twice this week and it was so good. his date is the 28th and it couldn't seem more perfect with how everything had timed out.

mathew!!

• jimmy is also so good. we taught his whole family twice!! we did the plan of salvation as board game and the girls loved it.

our game we played with jimmy's family

• i hit 18 months as a missionary yesterday. that blows my mind haha. feels like just yesterday i was hopping on a plane to utah then to michigan. God has blessed me so much in the time i have been serving and i thank him every day that i got to serve here among God's elect.

MOST IMPORTANT: come hear a message of hope and healing from our prophet. -FRIDAY, 1pm est, 11am mst

are we always at the lake?? the answer is yes

November 9, 2020

• Jimmy. I love Jimmy. We taught him several times this week and we are actually going to teach his girlfriend and two daughters tonight!! He just lost his dad this week and when we taught him the Plan of Salvation, he said he felt like a weight was lifted off his shoulders. He is also the funniest person alive.

• Mathew is so sweet and so good. He sadly missed church this week so we have to move his baptism at least a week. Otherwise he is doing so good and has been studying and praying more than most people I know

• We watched the sunrise one morning and had a lesson with Alex at sunset. So dang pretty. Plus she brought her dog

• We had exchanges!! It was so fun to be with all the sisters that were in Lansing with me a few months ago

• Jimmy recommended this trail that leads to the lake and it was so beautiful. We went after church on Sunday and spent some quality time on the beach

• It has also been insanely nice out. Idk what happened but we have been mega blessed

• We had our district pday in Petoskey today and someone the elders are teaching saw us from her house so she took our picture haha

• We grilled steak and made s'mores. Thanks to the group for giving us steaks and thanks to Robert for letting us use his grill
